How to reach us, and what we will and will not respond to

Corrections, right of reply, register applications and newsletter sponsorship.

Corrections and right of reply

If something published here is inaccurate, write with the article, the passage and the correction you propose. We publish corrections with a visible note. We do not remove accurate material at anyone's request.

Register and newsletter

For a register entry, read criteria and rates first, including the list of what we will not list at any price. For newsletter sponsorship, the rate card and its limits are on the newsletter page.

How

Write to newsroom [at] feedworthy.co.uk.

We do not respond to requests for links, guest articles, sponsored posts, product samples, tasting invitations, press trips or gifted items, which between them account for most of what arrives. We do not accept samples of anything, so please do not send them.

Things we cannot help with

  • Diet, allergy, intolerance or any health question. Speak to your GP or a registered dietitian, and start with the NHS. We do not answer these and will not try.
  • A specific product you think is mislabelled or unsafe. Contact the trading standards or environmental health service of the local authority for the business, and check the Food Standards Agency alerts.
  • A suspicion of food crime. The National Food Crime Unit operates a confidential reporting route.
  • An advertisement you think is misleading. The Advertising Standards Authority takes complaints from anyone, free of charge, and publishes its rulings.

The Feedworthy briefing

One email a fortnight. What changed in food labelling, claims and pricing rules, and one pack phrase taken apart. A sponsor line is carried at the foot of each issue and is labelled as such. It cannot influence a legal status verdict, and the rate card says so in writing.

We use your address for the briefing and nothing else. See privacy and the rate card.
