A fortnightly briefing with one labelled sponsor line

What the briefing contains, how sponsorship works, the published rate card, and the limits on it.

What the briefing is

One email a fortnight. What changed in food labelling, claims, schemes and pricing rules since the last issue, and one pack phrase taken apart in the shelf edge format used across this site.

It carries no product recommendations, no affiliate links and no offers, for the same reason nothing else here does.

One sponsor line per issue, at the foot, after the editorial content and visually separated from it. It is labelled as a sponsor line. It is a single line of text plus a link, and it is not written by us.

Rate card

  • Single issue: 280 pounds.
  • Three issues: 750 pounds.

What sponsorship cannot buy

Stated here so that it is published rather than merely agreed.

  • It cannot influence a legal status verdict. The shelf edge block in any issue, and every one on this site, states whether a phrase is defined in law, defined by a scheme or purely marketing. That determination follows the law and the published schemes. No sponsor sees it before publication and no sponsor can change it.
  • It cannot buy a mention in the editorial part of an issue.
  • It cannot buy the choice of subject for an issue.
  • It cannot buy sight of an issue before it is sent.
  • It cannot buy the subscriber list, which is never shared, sold or rented to anyone.
  • It cannot buy category exclusivity over what we write about.

Your data

We use your email address to send the briefing and for nothing else. It is not shared with sponsors or with anyone else. You can unsubscribe from the foot of any issue. See privacy for the detail.

The Feedworthy briefing

One email a fortnight. What changed in food labelling, claims and pricing rules, and one pack phrase taken apart. A sponsor line is carried at the foot of each issue and is labelled as such. It cannot influence a legal status verdict, and the rate card says so in writing.
